I-Phone

Wednesday, April 29, 2009

After jogging 1 round around Bedok reservoir yesterday morning, I went to Tampines Mall to buy my much awaited i-phone. I got the 16 GB black one, i think it looks much cooler than the white version of it. I can finally download all the nice applications into my phone and have a touch screen phone. However at the cashier, they introduced me a normal screen protector and a black carbon protector, but after I had paid for it, they then tell me they won't do the pasting of the screen protector for me...super sian...then the black carbon cover is not what I had expected and so I sort of wasted $51.30 there. So, after that, I then went to the apple shop on the 3rd floor to take a look at the screen protectors and i-phone covers. There, I saw some of the nicest and coolest i-phone assessories. I then bought a transparent phone cover which includes 2 screen protectors. The best part is that they help me to put on the screen protector free of charge, and its very professional. I think if I listen to the Singtel staff and paste it myself, my i-phone will turn out to be quite disastrous.

Ching Siang, Qing Yao and I then proceeded to Tampines One and had our lunch there. We ate at F.I.S.H, a subsidiary of Fish & Co. We thought it'll be like Fish & Co., but the menu is more of Western and seafood, and their Fish & Chips are even sold out! Haha. The servings are quite little too and the food is not fantastic, so maybe won't come here again...perhaps...see first...

After that, we then came to school and played WOW in the School of Bioengineering. I used the projector to play since my laptop screen is cracked...its super cool, you all should try playing games on the screen too...gaming is brought into a whole new level!! I also went to see my AB214 tutor to talk about my post-test and see how I fared in it and how to improve my writing. I realised that I forgot to apologise in the negative message...so pulled down my grade a little...And after returning to BIE, I started to move my contacts over from my old phone to my i-phone 1 by 1, as Nokia is not compatible with i-phone, so take up super duper a lot of time. And sometimes when I got a little sian with transferring contacts over, I would watch Bleach anime and play WOW.

Let you guys see what my i-phone looks like...cool right? Will install applications in it in time to come!!

Shopping at Orchard

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

Today after fetching Ching Siang to school for his last paper today, I went to change $3,700 worth of Thai Bhat with my friend, who have tremendous exchange rates cuz of staff rate. The money is for Jun Jie's Krabi trip and i got for him at a rate of 23.45. Good right? Haha...After that, I went to Jia Jia's house at Boon Keng to give her a lift to Orchard, where we will be doing our formal wear shopping for our upcoming PA starting on 11th May. Actually can reach Jia Jia's house at 1pm, but at the PIE exit near that stupid Siemens building, I made a wrong turn and I was 'hor lan' around Aljunied area for more than 30 minutes...super sian. The only good thing that came out of it is that I found a stretch of road that have 2 ESSO petrol stations, cuz the warning sign for low petrol had started to appear...heng sia...haha.

After reaching Orchard, we then went to meet with Dian Min, Zhiyu and Michelle, who was already there at 1 plus shopping at Wisma. Dian Min had already bought something for herself. So efficient sia. After shopping for a little while more, we then went to Food Republic to have our lunch. I must say, the food there is quite tasty for a food court, though the price is a little pricey.

After lunch, our shopping gear kicked into turbo action. Fiona joined us a little while later, around 4pm, late for 3 whole hours!! After some window shopping, we went to G2000 Black Label at Takashimaya to shop for our formal clothes. There, the 5 girls helped me choose a nice formal shirt and pants. After some trying and stuff, I finally settled on a blue shit and black pants. Cost me $169 altogether...plus Jia Jia's and Michelle's formal pants, we managed to hit $200, which entitled us to a G2000 prestige card...next time shop at G2000 will have 15% discount...so if u all wanna buy at G2000 in future, feel free to approach me...

Then at Armani Exchange, the 5 of them bought me a formal belt from there as a belated birthday present! So touched!! Its one of my nicest belt that I have! Now, I have a belt that I can wear to PA everyday.

Below is the belt that they have bought for me today... nice right?

So today I had really a great harvest, like I bought the whole set of formal wear, with the exception of shoes, which I already have at home. At seven plus, Dian Min and Zhiyu then proceeded home and the rest of us then went to Paragon to chill out at Starbucks. What a nice day today!! After that, at around 8 plus, I gave a lift to Jia Jia and Michelle back to Boon Keng and I sped home in order to catch the final episode of the Ping Pong show on Channel 8.

Exam and 23rd Birthday Celebration!!
